The Full Story

Founded in Australia’s Capital, circa 2017, by front woman guitarist Charlotte Jenkins and drummer Daan Steffens, Charlotte & The Harlots have worked their way to become one of Canberra's top acts, synonymous with their local scene. Now joined by bassist Jasper-Kemp Myers & lead guitarist Luke Schiffer, Charlotte & The Harlots are notorious for their loud, high energy shows. Here to deliver the Power-Pop/Punk-Rock/Grunge resurgence, Charlotte & The Harlots are the breath of fresh air you need.

Through their compelling mixture of memorable choruses and abrasive walls of fuzz, Charlotte & The Harlots' old school work ethic will arrest your attention and prove they are a group worth keeping an eye on. Although from varying musical backgrounds, each member remains an integral pillar to The Harlots' unique sound. Charlotte, Luke, Jasper and Daan collaborate in simpatico and once onstage they perform to their highest abilities, leaving nothing behind.

Beginning work on their debut release in 2018. Charlotte & The Harlots' self-titled EP harks back to the nostalgic classic rock records that inspire them. Upon the EP's release Charlotte & The Harlots embarked on a five date headline tour, reaching new crowds and quickly growing their fan base.


In 2020, after months of prolific writing and rehearsing The Harlots headed to Sydney to record their debut album with Jason Whalley. Their musical growth and maturity becoming evident with each new track. Recorded in three days, Charlotte & The Harlots' soon to be released album 'Everything You Are To Me' explores strength through heartbreak and finding yourself after its' demise. Navigating power, love and friendship Charlotte & The Harlots' newest material delves into the raw and confounding nature of adolescent relationships.

The first two singles off the album, 'Around' and 'Hit The Limit', were both added to Spotify's 'All New Rock' editorial playlist and hit 10k streams within their first month. Charlotte & The Harlots also featured on Triple J Unearthed with their song 'Too Free'. In May 2022, Charlotte & The Harlots released their debut album 'Everything You Are To Me, it marks the first full length release for the band. They've seen tremendous growth in both music streams and social media follows in the previous months, leaving fans of the band interacting with the band like never before. Charlotte & The Harlots head out on a national tour in June, playing down the east coast and across to the Adeliade over 7 dates. 

Charlotte & the Harlots have played prolifically around the ACT and NSW, touring with friends Mimi The Desert Pearl and supporting many notable local and interstate bands such as Teen Jesus And The Jean Teasers, WAAX, Yours Truly, Carla Geneve, Pist Idiots, ARSE, C.O.F.F.I.N, The Neptune Power Federation, Witchskull, The Dead Love, Hard Ons and have several upcoming shows supporting Hard Aches and Frenzal Rhomb.
